MEET YOUR COACH

I’m Mathieu — a former professional rugby player turned strength & conditioning coach.

I spent over a decade competing at a high level in France and the U.S., learning firsthand what elite rugby truly demands from the body — strength, speed, power, and durability.

After retiring, I transitioned into performance coaching and corrective training, studying movement mechanics, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development to better understand how athletes break down — and how to prevent it.

Over the past several years, I’ve worked with youth players, competitive athletes, and experienced “old boys” who want to keep performing without sacrificing durability.

Peak Rugby was built from that experience — combining professional playing insight with structured strength & conditioning principles to develop athletes from the foundation up.
